Moreover, there still have some border control depended on different region, so another web site you must visit is GOV.UK before you go.
Beautiful Beaches in Subtropical County of UK.
Cornwall has a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers. Due to its marine environment and the influence of the Gulf Stream, Cornwall has one of the mildest and sunniest climates in the UK. Due to the easing effect of ocean currents, winter is the warmest area in the country. Frost and snowfall are very rare in coastal areas and rare in the central highlands. However, summer is not as warm as in other parts of southern England. The southwest coast of Cornwall is the only subtropical climate in the UK.
Cornwall is one of the sunniest areas in the UK, with an average of 7.6 hours of sunshine per day in July. The humid, mild air from the southwest of England has more rain than the east of England, but extreme weather in the form of storms and floods is common.
Cornwall is famous for its world-renowned beaches, which makes it a surfing paradise in the UK and one of the main holiday destinations in the UK. Newquay is considered the best surfing destination in the country and regularly hosts world championships. Other water sports in Cornwall, such as boating and sailing, have a long history and are widely participated today.
POLZEATH, CORNWALL
This beautiful beaches haven for surfers and watersports types was also the favorite place of the late poet laureate Sir John Betjeman, and it’s not hard to see why everyone loves Polzeath. It’s a picturesque mix of sand and shingle, and is studded with rock pools and backed by a dramatic rockface. The only downside is the riptide, which makes it unsuitable for children to swim.

CRANTOCK BEACH
We love this sandy, tidal beach, which is bordered by towering dunes, close to Newquay. The sand is perfect for making castles, there’s an estuary for kids to splash in, and it’s dog-friendly all year round. If you enjoy surfing you’ll also love Crantock. As this is a tidal beach it’s important to check the tide times so you don’t get caught out by the rising water. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer.
Crantock Beach has a National Trust pay and displays car park behind the dunes, which members can park in for free. In the car park, there’s a toilet block with baby changing facilities, but the beach doesn’t have a cafe. Bring a picnic or grab something from the shops in Crantock before you hit the beach.

PORTHCURNO BEACH
Porthcurno beach is one of my favorite beaches in all of Cornwall! The beach of Porthcurno is only a 20-minute drive from the center of Penzance. It is my favorite place to spend a beach day near Penzance! There is enough parking on the beach, but if you go in summer, I suggest you do it early!
The bay of Porthcurno is very beautiful and is another must-see place outside of the Minack Theater! Moreover, if the weather turns on the beach, there is the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum near the beach, which is also a great thing in Cornwall on a rainy day!

Fistral, Newquay
If you like surfing, this beach is ideal. There are many places to relax, sandy beaches, and many caves where you can take pictures.
The nearby bars and restaurants are also very distinctive, the train station is not far away, and the traffic is very convenient.
After you have read so much more beautiful beach, don’t forget to purchase your new swimsuit.

Porthminster, St Ives.
This crescent-shaped beautiful golden sandy beach is surrounded by a gleaming bay, with a magnificent view of Godrevy Lighthouse, and the other is St Ives Harbour. At low tide, Porthminster merges with Harbour Beach to form a vast beach.
This is the inspiration for Virginia Woolf’s famous novel “To the Lighthouse”. Thanks to Britain’s mildest climate, swaying palm trees, and translucent waters, the area has a distinctly tropical atmosphere.
Just a few steps from the center of St Ives, Porthminster is an excellent family beach and has won a consistent Blue Flag award for it. A sheltered place means that it is generally safe to swim here, and there is also a summer lifeguard service on the beach. On land, you only need to relax on the deck chair, and you can also order freshly made juices and smoothies.
There are many facilities here, including the acclaimed Porthminster Beach Café, known for its quality seafood and outdoor dining.

Where to Find the Best Foods in Cornwall
Samphire Restaurant.
The high-end restaurant in The Headland Hotel is beautiful in classic luxury style, facing the magnificent Fistral beach, romantic sunset and awesome dinner. The food is delicious, the octopus is cute and fresh and delicious. The Dover sole with potatoes and vegetables, the lamb is awesome, and the desserts are delicious too!
If you plan to stay in Fistral for a few days and learn to surf or paddleboard, The Headland Hotel is also the best choice.
The Cornish Deli
3 Chapel Street St. Ives Cornwall TR26 2L
A great family-run cafe in the heart of St. Ives Street, the owner and his wife are very friendly. The burgers and sandwiches here are great, and the dinner menu has a special lemon with capers, sanfire and potatoes.
Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar
You will never expect this popular street shop. It is great and super delicious. The price is about 8-9 pounds. The mussel soup is rich and the flounder is very tender. Crab corn chips, fried squid rings, scallops Bacon, the portion is not a lot, but the taste is super good. There are a lot of people, so go a little earlier.
Porth Beach Hotel
The hotel is ideally located to provide picturesque Porth Beach, close to many famous landmarks in Newquay, such as St. Columb Minor Parish Church, The Parish Church and St. Eval Church. The room is very comfortable and clean, the bed is so comfortable, it is suitable to lie down here for a night. The breakfast was very good, with a small buffet of cheeses, fruits, cereals, muffins, and various pastries, as well as a very rich and varied breakfast and fresh juices.
Tolcarne Beach Apartments
The apartment is quiet, relaxing, and very clean. The master bedroom is awesome, the apartment has a large balcony and a very large beach view, with a perfect view of the beach. The little picnic basket, refrigerator, flat-screen TV, cups, tea, and coffee are all great facilities and the cone jam and cream are a lovely detail.
